Junior Leagues’ Kids in the Kitchen is designed to help communities address the urgent issues surrounding childhood obesity and poor nutrition. The Junior League is committed to improving the health of today’s youth by empowering them to make choices that lead to healthy lifestyles.

In honor of this nation's greatest tragedy, September 11 has been officially designated a national Day of Service and Rememberance.

We invite all Junior League of Cincinnati members to honor this day with a service project of their choosing.

Whether you prefer to spend an hour reading to children, preparing a meal for those in need or offering a ride to a senior, we welcome you to take a moment and give some time and reignite the spirit of unity.

The Junior League of Cincinnati will host an Open House for the community to meet with

members and learn more about the JLC’s upcoming fall activities while enjoying wine and samples of recipes from the JLC’s newest cookbook, Cincinnati Seasoned.  A collection of more than 180 recipes, photography and celebrating the Tri-State’s flavors, seasons and favorite landmarks.

Renee Schuler of Eat Well Celebrations and Feasts will give a cooking demonstration of one of her featured recipes beginning at 8:00 p.m.

For this event only, the cookbook will be available for purchase by guests at the JLC members’ discounted price.  Everyone is welcome to bring friends and stop by for a ‘Taste of the Fall Season!

Donation bins are located on the main floor and auditorium of Columbia Center. Crayons to Computers, CandO and the teachers throughout Cincinnati thank you for helping the kids start the year off right!

Beginning August 2, 2010, the Junior League office will be open from 9:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Monday-Thursday.  Columbia Center will be open from 9:00 a.m.-9:00 p.m. Monday-Wednesday.  However, before making a visit to either the office and/or Columbia Center, please CALL AHEAD.  Any last minute closures will be detailed on the phone message.  Thanks!
