Join Us

Dear Prospective Member,

Thank you for expressing your interest in the Junior League. Each year, we invite women to join us - women like you who want to make time in their lives for service to others. We are proud of our efforts on behalf of those in need. We welcome you to take a closer look at all the different ways you can choose to get involved with our Junior League. We hope you will feel as we do - that today’s Junior League is for all of us.

Did you know that the Junior League volunteers have helped pave the way for such innovations as hot school lunches, children’s theatres and museums as well as early screening for breast cancer? Did you know that our Junior League of Eastern Fairfield County is currently involved in over 25 different hands-on service projects in at-risk schools and domestic violence shelters throughout our area? Did you know that we are helping to build a brand new childcare facility in one of the most needy neighborhoods in Bridgeport? This is today’s Junior League and you can be a part of it.

Many of us also joined the Junior League to meet other women. We value the unique support system that comes with a group of like-minded ladies who care and want to make a difference. And we treasure the friendships that we have made along the way. We are today’s Junior League.

Did you know that Junior Leaguers come from all different walks of life? Some of us are full-time stay-at-home moms. Some of us are single women with challenging careers. And some of us raise children and work outside the home. We’re all part of today’s Junior League.

If this sounds like something you want to be a part of, please take the time to review the links under "Join Us" on this website. We have included a variety of pieces to help you learn more about who we are, what we do and how you can be a part of it all. Feel free to check out other aspects of our website as well; especially the links about the Bridgeport Childcare Project and the Mini Grant Recipients. These projects truly reflect the mission of our league. We have also done our best to anticipate any questions you may have. Hopefully, you’ll find the answers you seek by reading through the Frequently Asked Questions section. If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact us at 203-259-9995.

Each year we welcome a new group of women who want to get involved with us in building better communities. We hope you are one of these women. Our next class will begin this fall. To join our next Provisional Program, simply fill out the application and send it along with your check for training. We look forward to hearing from you.

Best Wishes,
Eileen Carty & Amy Flynn
