30th Annual Lakeland Christmas Parade
Thursday, December 2, 2010 at 7:00 p.m.

The parade theme for 2010 is “Christmas Stories”.  To submit an entry for the Christmas parade you must complete an online registration application by September 10, 2010.  The two required items for entry are:

1.  Online application and media form...now available via the 'REGISTER NOW' button to the right of this page.  Add 1 registrant for each online application/entry.
2.  Application fee of $35.00, payable online via PayPal/credit card upon submission of the online application.  Public officials and marching bands are exempt from the application fee but they must complete the application form and media form.

For your convenience, below is a professional float company that many organizations have used in the past.  After your initial contact with the float company, we will call them for verification and a detailed description of the unit you have selected.

Please review the rules and information carefully as all units are accepted based on compliance with these rules, completion of the application, and on the basis of the unit’s quality and contribution to the parade.  Professional floats following the holiday theme will be shown preference.  All units participating in the parade are required to display on the front of the unit a Junior League of Greater Lakeland placard which will be given to units at time of check in.  Acceptance or rejection letters will be sent out by October 1, 2010.  The submittal of an application does not imply automatic acceptance.

Awards will be presented to outstanding participants at the Lakeland City Commission meeting in December.  Thank you for your enthusiasm and willingness to be a part of an important holiday event...we look forward to providing our community with another great Christmas Parade!
