Program Description

Suits With Skills committee members develop and execute training sessions for women who are coming out of crisis and are preparing to enter the workforce, often for the first time.  Meeting topics range from word processing and resume development to a guide for appropriate make-up and dress for an interview.  Graduates of the placement celebrate with a graduation ceremony and receive a Stein Mart shopping spree to purchase new attire for professional interviews.  Although the clothing will assist these exceptional women in getting their foot in the door, their continued success will depend much more on the confidence and skills they acquired from the Suits with Skills program.
