The Junior League of Monterey County, Inc. is delighted to share the Old Whaling Station adobe and gardens with you for your wedding, reception, party, business function, meeting, or special event.
Located in Monterey's Heritage Harbor, near Fisherman's Wharf, this historic adobe has been tastefully decorated with antique furnishings and features a formal dining room, living room with fireplace, and sunroom. A bedroom and a sitting room are upstairs. The historic flowering gardens feature beautiful old fashioned roses, brick walkways, and a lovely wooden arbor.
The Old Whaling Station's elegant surroundings make any function a truly memorable occasion.
The Old Whaling Station adobe and its' garden is an historic site, owned by the California State Department of Parks and Recreation, and operated by the Junior League of Monterey County, Inc.
The Junior League of Monterey County, Inc. is an organization of women committed to promoting voluntarism, developing the potential of women and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its purpose is exclusively educational and charitable. The JLMC reaches out to women of all races, religions, and national origin who demonstrate an interest in, and commitment to volunteerism.
