The Junior League of Palo Alto•Mid Peninsula is committed to positively impacting our community through the work of dedicated volunteers, grants and training funds.

Community Projects
The League, usually in partnership with another organization, makes a significant investment of volunteer time, administrative support, and financial resources toward community projects designed to meet a defined community need. In addition to funding, the League provides 10-15 dedicated volunteers to its community projects. League involvement typically spans 1-4 years.  <more>

Done in a Day Projects

Community Grants

Qualified community grants of up to $5,000 are made to organizations operating in the League's geographical service area. Community Grants are awarded for new programs, capital expenditures or general operating funds. Requests are processed on an annual basis, with the grant cycle culminating in March. <more>

Training Funds

Training Funds for professional development activities are available for staff or volunteers of tax-exempt, nonprofit community organizations. <more>

We work hard to learn about the needs of our neighbors and determine how we can best work to meet those needs.
